Fair Ontario
A Celebrated Community Tradition
Delta Fair is one of Ontario’s oldest continuously operating agricultural fairs, with roots dating back to 1830. Held in the village of Delta, the fair is proudly sponsored by the Delta Agricultural Society and has long served as a gathering place for families, neighbours, and visitors from near and far. Each year, the fair brings people together to celebrate agriculture, local talent, and shared traditions in a friendly and welcoming setting.
Often described as a homecoming, Delta Fair offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet new faces, and enjoy time-honoured rural experiences. The fair remains affordable and accessible, making it a favourite annual tradition for all ages.
What to Expect at Delta Fair
Delta Fair features a full schedule of activities designed to appeal to every member of the family. Visitors can explore agricultural and produce exhibits, enjoy homecraft displays, and take part in a wide range of judged competitions. Children’s events and competitions provide hands-on fun and learning, while commercial exhibits showcase local businesses and organizations.
Entertainment plays a central role in the fair experience, with scheduled performances and attractions throughout the event. Midway rides and games, provided by World’s Finest Shows, add excitement and energy to the fairgrounds, creating a lively atmosphere from morning through evening.
Celebrating Agriculture and Tradition
At its heart, Delta Fair remains dedicated to celebrating agriculture and rural life. Livestock exhibitions, produce competitions, and agricultural displays highlight the skills, care, and dedication of local farmers and exhibitors. These elements preserve long-standing traditions while introducing younger generations to the importance of agriculture within the community.
The fair continues to evolve while staying true to its purpose: honouring the past, celebrating the present, and creating lasting memories for the future.
A Fair for Everyone
From first-time visitors to families who have attended for generations, Delta Fair offers an experience rooted in connection, tradition, and community pride. Each year builds on nearly two centuries of history, ensuring the fair remains a place where memories are made and traditions live on.
